Agewell is actively looking for a building which we can develop as a Community Hub for older people – and we’re looking for investment partners.
Facilities could include meeting rooms, multi-activity rooms, computer suite, information point, library, café, gym and garden. Activites on offer could include computer courses, gardening, crafts, cookery groups, gentle exercise, bowls, darts, dominoes, cards, table tennis, photography, book exchange and more.
The hub would need to earn income from commercial activity run by other people which could include a café, licensed bar, hairdresser, chiropody, insurance, travel agent, garden centre, acupuncture and aromatherapy, mobility and independent living aids.
