Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update February 2021
During these difficult times we want to reassure older people in Sandwell that Agewell is still open and here for you. If you are an older person, or you are worried about an older person, please call us on 0121 796 9333 and we’ll see how we can help.
Our office at Rounds Green Library remains closed until further notice, so all staff are working from home. We are doing our best to answer and return your calls as quickly as possible, but do ask for your patience if things take a little longer than normal.
Our monthly Local Forums and weekly Community Exercise groups are currently closed although we are offering a range of chair-based and gentle exercise sessions via the Keep Moving with Agewell Facebook page and via Zoom. Click here for details of how to get involved and keep moving.
Our shop at Sandwell Hospital is currently open (Mondays to Fridays) and our Dementia Navigators are continuing to provide a telephone advice and support service for people living with dementia and their carers in Sandwell. Click here for more details.
When filling in our referral form to access our support, please can we remind you to include in the Other Medical Conditions section, if you or the person you care for is currently self isolating or experiencing any Covid symptoms, as well as the dates they received their Covid-19 vaccinations.
